Hello Everyone!

Eggs are a pretty versatile ingredient for both breakfast and brunch. They can be served on their own in a variety of ways or used in some wonderful dishes like the recipes below.

Eggs are found in just about any recipe available these days. There are so many uses, but they also taste great all by themselves. Known to be high in protein and vitamin B12, they are also a favorite food for a low carbohydrate diet and way of life as well as an inexpensive source of protein if you are on a budget.

For brunch, you can pair most egg recipes with something a bit sweet, like your favorite muffins, coffeecakes, or scones, as you have a combination of sweet and savory.

It has been quite a winter in my area of Eastern Wisconsin and I am hoping spring will come soon. I think a visit to a greenhouse is in order, just to smell some of the signs of spring. It always does wonders for me in late winter.

Happy Eating!

A Helpful Hint:

Bread BasketAdd some vinegar or a little salt to the boiling water when cooking eggs. This will keep the egg in the shell if it cracks.
