Hello Everyone!

We have had our first taste of snow flurries here this past weekend and the temperature is averaging about 45 degrees daily. I think we may be in for a long winter!

It seems like just about everyone I talk to is baking more now than in the past month. I guess the cooler weather just brings out the urge to do a bit of baking.

Whether you bake a pumpkin bread, cranberry orange bread, or squash muffins, or try your hand at apple fritters, the smell and aroma of fall is definitely in the air.

Add any of these brunch ideas to your traditional brunch food favorites like eggs or a quiche and you have the makings of a really cozy meal. Add slices of crisp fall apples for some color, texture and crunch. Complete the brunch with a great fall tablecloth and a centerpiece of crisp fall leaves or decorations of gourds, small squash, Indian corn, and pumpkins.

Candles are always a nice touch as well to add coziness and warmth to a meal. Invite a few friends or family and not much more is needed to create a memorable day.

Enjoy your fall and
Happy Eating!
