This month: Mother's Day Brunch Menus

Mother's Day Brunch Menus: In this issue of the Breakfast and Brunch Express, find menus and recipes for a delightful Mother's Day brunch.

Hello!

FlowersHello and welcome!
Mother's Day is the time to celebrate your special one-of-a-kind mom. If you are honoring your mom this Sunday, brunch is a great way to do it. Food, cooking, and entertaining are all part of what makes a home and mom is usually in the center of the activities.

I have prepared a few Mother's Day brunch menus to give you ideas for some easy to make recipes. Many of these recipes can be prepared the day ahead or earlier the same day so you have more time together as a family. Have the smaller children help with setting the table and older ones can measure and stir and help make the recipes. Spruce up the breakfast table with fresh flowers, printed napkins and even a bit of curled ribbon or confetti to make it a bit special.

Happy Eating and Happy Mother's Day to all moms!

Laura

I found this quote and thought it very fitting:

"A mother is she who can take the place of all others, but whose place no one else can take."

- Cardinal Mermillod

A Helpful Cooking Hint:

When making jam, rub the bottom of the pan with butter. This prevents burning and keeps the jam clear.

Quote for the Day:

The hardness of the butter is directly proportional to the softness of the bread.
