have just made it through another snowstorm in our area of Wisconsin
and I find myself yearning for the warmer months ahead.Valentine's Day makes its way to us to break up the winter and also as a rememberance to tell those in our daily lives that we love them. Many times that involves a special meal so since Valentine's Day falls on Sunday this year here are a few ideas for a special brunch menu. Valentine's Day Brunch Ideas Serve these heart shaped chocolate chip pancakes with a simple fresh fruit salad and a mimosa or plain orange juice for a fun and easy Valentine's Day brunch. If you don't like pancakes, try this recipe for stuffed French toast made with Texas toast, apricot preserves, cream cheese and pecans. Serve with sausages or bacon and juice or a bellini cocktail. Steaming Popovers served with crisp fried bacon with your favorite fruit juice make a decadent treat and a wonderful breakfast for two. Add in some sliced fresh fruit for a fun meal. For those with families, consider making these chocolate muffins with raisins, a cherry crumb coffeecake or this fruit pizza made with a chocolate chip cookie dough crust.
