basic muffin recipe

This is an old basic white muffin recipe and very good. It came from a freshman Home Economics class in the early 1960's.

You can add anything of your dreams to this recipe...chocolate chips are wonderful, white chocolate chunks are even better, raisins are great. Any dried fruit is super...cherries, apricots, even dates.

Serve these basic muffins with a delicious breakfast smoothie. Or try these fresh fruit recipes.
