Ingredient

2-20 ounce cans pineapple chunks
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup cider vinegar
8 whole cloves (or 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves)
1 cinnamon stick
dash of salt

Instructions:
Step 1: Drain pineapple juice from the
cans into a medium saucepan. Set pineapple chunks aside.
Step
2: Add the sugar, cider vinegar, cloves, cinnamon stick,
and salt to the syrup in the sauce pan and cook over medium heat for 10
minutes.
Step 3: Add pineapple chunks back to the mixture.
Heat to boiling and the sauce starts to thicken.
