If you have ever thought it would be fun to host a tea party, you probably have a lot of questions as this is something that most people do not do everyday.

The recipes you make play a large part in the planning. Below I have quite a few recipes listed.

You by no means need to make them all. Pick and choose which ones your guests will enjoy and go from there.

Tea Sandwiches

tea sandwiches Chopped Ham Tea Sandwiches are made with chopped ham, cheese, egg, sour cream, green onions, and chopped pecans.

cucumber sandwiches Cucumber Sandwiches are served on a slice of cocktail rye bread, with a cream cheese spread and topped with a slice of cucumber and dill weed.



veggie pizzaA classic veggie pizza recipe made with crescent roll dough, a mixture of cream cheese, sour cream, and ranch salad dressing, and topped with chopped vegetables and cheese.

Tea Cookies

spice cookies These little Spice Cookies are made with cake flour, flavored with molasses, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves and are then rolled in granulated sugar.



lemon tea biscuitsLemon Tea Biscuits are made with cake flour, lemon zest and fresh lemon juice for a sweet teacake.



tea cookies These delicate orange coconut tea cookies are made from cake flour, orange juice, whipped meringue, and sweetened coconut. This is one of my favorite tea party recipes!

Fruit Tarts

fruit tarts A recipe for mini fruit tarts using mini pastry shells, vanilla coconut filling, and topped with fresh summer fruits of blueberries and cherries.



apple tarts These mini cranberry apple tarts are made with chopped apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, jam, and dried cranberries and placed in a pre-made pastry shell.

Scones

scone Traditional cream scones made with flour, butter, milk, and sugar and served in a doily lined basket. Also try apricot or cranberry scones.

Quick breads

cranberry orange bread Cranberry orange bread is made with dried sweetened cranberries, orange juice, egg, and walnuts. Also try this date bread thinly sliced with cream cheese spread.
